Last night I wanted to go a bit unconventional so I picked the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for the 550 PP Touring Car Championship in the International A series in GT6. While this "550PP" series actually allows up to 600PP, I tuned to 550 anyway.

In this series you're up against "touring cars," most notably the DTC style M3 and Z4 racers. The Suzuki is so lightweight (literally half the weight of the M3) that almost any contact with these cars sends you spinning, and we all know the predilection the AI has for PIT maneuvers. Not to mention that even clipping a curb at over 100mph can send you off-track, or even roll you.

So I'm driving with this very visceral fear of making mistakes, and it's pretty glorious. The GSX-R/4 is competitive in this field and can win handily with its agility, but the number of mistakes it took to get there is a bit embarrassing.

10/10, Would race again.

Ah. So weight is the issue with modded NSX-R? That thing will go up on two wheels so quick.

Haven't had that problem that I know of. The NSX-R is much wider than the GSX-R/4, though. Do you flip it on contact with the curbs?

Btw, I've never had a PSN friend that played gran turismo. It freaked me out when I saw your lap trace show up while I was driving on Bathurst today.

It's not an immediate flip, but it will go up quickly on two wheels and, if the angle of the turn is sharp enough, will then go over on the roof. I have to be on top of it quickly to save it.

Hahaha. Was that my silver level for the Mercedes Vision concept? I use Blunion as my benchmark–I've learned a lot about Willow Springs from his trace.

Yes, it was on the Mercedes Vision "super lap." I think I've gotta friend more people if you get that for all the seasonals. It's very motivating. Is Blunion an opponaut?

Even quicker than Blunion is WorldRally17 . I think he's just a burner, but he's often the fastest blue eel around the track.
